The new policies, developed in alignment with U.S. Center for SafeSport requirements, U.S. Youth Soccer (USYS) guidelines, and New Jersey state laws, establish clear standards and procedures for preventing and addressing all forms of abuse and misconduct.

• Zero-Tolerance Policy: A strict zero-tolerance policy for all forms of abuse, including sexual, physical, emotional abuse, neglect, hazing, bullying, cyberbullying, and discrimination.

• Mandatory Reporting: Clear and accessible reporting procedures, with multiple avenues for individuals to report suspected or witnessed incidents.

• Thorough Investigations: Detailed investigation procedures to ensure all reports are addressed promptly, thoroughly, and impartially.

• Preventative Measures: Implementation of robust preventative measures, including mandatory background checks, SafeSport training for all coaches and volunteers, and increased supervision.

• Parent and Player Responsibilities: Clearly defined roles and responsibilities for parents and players in maintaining a safe environment.

• Consistent Disciplinary Actions: A range of disciplinary actions for violations of the SafeSport Code, ensuring accountability.
